This refined chandelier made by Stilnovo is a perfect representative for Italian Mid-Century Design of the fifties. A double layered shade in off white is the lure of this design, however: the construction certainly catches the eye of the viewer of this chandelier. A black metal rod in the shape of a scalene triangle is attached to the ceiling, with a brass weight that allows the owner to adjust the height of the light source. The color combinations of the white shade, the black rod and the brass are stunning together and give this lamp a very strong presence, even though the design is very subtle and wonderful. This chandelier has a considerable size and, therefore, can serve a a focal point in one's interior. The truly refined construction has been achieved by the designers’ great eye for detail and high-level of craftsmanship this lamp is exemplary for.
